The best sushi around Hiroshima!

Great, reasonably priced sushi served by a Japanese chef who can speak a little English. It was very close to the Sheraton hotel which was a plus.

This has to be the best sushi place I have been to in Japan (big fresh pieces of fish) I will come here again!😍

Amazing sushi. Very fresh. This is my 3rd visit and it is still awesome. English menu is available. Everything is good. Price is reasonable. You can order Hotate (very fresh) even though it is not on the menu.

Sushimi: the raw fish was very good. We took tuna and salmon and It was delicious. Sushi 🍣 was just incredibly delicious. Well presented, fresh and tasty!I tried the Tempura. It was just fine. I think it’s not the best option to order tempura in this restaurant. The price was not very high but the taste could be much much better. Thank you!

This was my go to sushi place when I was in Hiroshima. Not only is the food excellent, the atmosphere is a lot of fun. I would highly recommend a visit.

Visited this lovely little place on our last night of our two week japan holiday. Everyone in the restaurant, the staff and the chefs were so hospitable and welcoming. They have an English menu and you note down the numbers of the items you would like. The sushi was so delicious and fresh. We were even lucky enough to try a delicacy we hadn’t come across before in our entire travels over Japan. The price is reasonable too.

Fantastic little neighborhood sushi restaurant with outstanding food. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating for English speaking guests. There are English menus on the table and most staff understand enough English to be helpful. My wife said it was the best red tuna she had ever eaten. Only a two minute walk from the north entrance of Hiroshima station.

Great sushi in a warm and relaxed environment. The location is very convenient and price is cheap for the basic menu (800 yen for a plate of sushi)!

The best sushi for the money in Japan! Hands down a must visit if you are in Hiroshima. Amazing fish, relaxed atmosphere, and best of all, grest prices! We had a lot of sushi, sashimi, tempura and sake for 100$ for 2 people. Do not miss it! (Please make sure you go to the right location as there seems to be many places on Google maps with a similar name)

Best sushi in our trip through JapanThis place is amazing: the fish is delicious and the chefs, and all the staff in general, are super nice. I recommend sitting in the bar front of the chefs instead of in the table. That way, you can interact with them during your whole dinner, which is really worthy.Besides recommendations and explanations about what you are eating, the elder chef prepared some special salmon sushi for us... for free. My favourite one was the fatty tuna one (glorious!). Besides all things fishy, I would recommend the tempura -a delicate pleasure. And don't forget to drink chilling beer -or warm sake, depending on the season. Seriously, this place was an experience, and all for lest than 50$.

Very nice hospitality for all customers not only Japanese but also foreigners.Sushi , sashimi , Japanese dishes ,Hiroshima local foods and various Japanese sake are available on fair price.It takes 5min from Hiroshima station. So just before taking Shinkansen train , it can be enjoyable to eat Sushi.

Great place for fresh and tasty sushi in Hiroshima. Tuna sashimi came in huge slices, served in ice cubes. Also the classic sushi variations like maguro & sake nigiri tasted incredibly fresh and were nicely served on a banana leave.There are a couple of specialities on a daily menu, like scallops nigiri or fried oysters.In general they also offer a bright variety of tempura, if you are into fried stuff.Make sure to sit at the bar and watch the sushi master prepare your order, for a much cooler experience.Can highly recommend this place!Cheers

My Japanese family's favourite place for sushi. This was one of the first places I discovered it's actually possible to eat as a vegetarian in a sushi place - in addition to the usual tamago, cucumber and avocado based sushi, they have some other interesting ingredients. My favourites are "ha wasabi" (the leaves from the wasabi plant, pickled) and "umi budo" (literally "sea grapes" - a kind of seaweed), in addition to a local kind of pickled cabbage called "hiroshimana" and grilled shiitake.Prices are very reasonable here, and Sushi Tei has several branches around Hiroshima.

Good sushi.....bit quiet though! Go later in the day from 6pm...better atmosphere!!

Nice sushi bar with a few tables. Sushi was fresh and we really enjoyed the tempura and the grilled anago. It is steps from the Skyway at the Sheraton so perfect on a rainy night. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Five stars for combination of price, taste and service.

We got the sushi and tempura set which was good value for money. Food and service were great. Most guests were locals. Staff did not speak much English but there is an English menu and staff were very attentive.

We went off hours and we had the restaurant to ourselves. The staff was wonderful and indeed a huge selection and variety!! And so tasty. We had also some of the crab and tempura as well as multiple sushi. Very close to the jr station. Very worth the rating it got.

One of my best sushi during my trip in Japan. Simple but everything was really good and super fresh. Omakase was excellent and the itamae and all staff were really nice and kind. In front of the JR station so super convenient. Very reasonable price, having eaten lots of ikura, o-toro, urchin and crab. Definitely would return...

The sushi is ok, but the pricing is very expensive for what you get. Maybe it's just Hiroshima prices, but I've had better sushi in the Osaka and Kyoto area for easily half of what I spent here.

Affordable price and it redirects on the quality of food, definitely not the best sushi in Japan, but may be it's good in hiroshima. Servants are trying best to soak English, appreciate it, but not the self order style.

Best Sushi ever!.Visited almost 3 years ago, but still the best sushi we ever had.Chef and guest were very very nice, we didn't speak Japanese, they didn't speak (much) English. But we had a great night.We had fun, good sushi, a little gift from the chef.Great great great. When we visit Hiroshima again we will definitely visit this sushi bar again.

The best sushi my husband and I ever had. Absolutely loved the food and the experience. They are so wonderful to foreigners and helpful.

The sushi was amazing, absolutely amazing, and the muscle miso soup, my goodness I hated eating muscles until I had this soup. Worth all the money I spent.

Have had sushi in Japan many times but this time was really outstanding!!! Definitely one of the best ever which I had eaten sushi from Tokyo area, Kansai area, Northern area... and most of all... its price!!! Probably the cheapest but finest sushi you could find in Japan. Too bad that I forgot to take any picture of the food as they were too wasted to be waited. LOL~
